Description

Gumlich analised the meaning of Plato’s Timaeus for the history of Western thought and science also in relation with the study of Aristotle’s work. He defined the Timaeus as a classical compendium for what concerns the cosmogonical and cosmological speculation, but regards it as less accurate with respect to the systematic treatises of Aristotle.
