Jacobi, Friedrich Heinrich. Ueber die Lehre des Spinoza in Briefen an den Herrn Moses Mendelssohn. Breslau: Gottl. Löwe, 1785.

Description

A classical of the Spinoza controversy during the second half of the eighteenth century in Germany, Jacobi’s letters to Moses Mendelssohn are also a pivotal contribution both for the study of Platonic and Neoplatonic thought in late eighteenth-century Germany and for the investigation of central topics of Plato’s Timaeus, such as the question about the uniqueness of time, or the impossibility of its plurality.
